2 Weeks Away!

Hello Fellow Friends and Family! It's been awhile since I have blogged... My b. I'm new to this whole thing, so It's gonna take a while to adjust to Blogging! BUT... a lot has happened for me and this trip! basically a lot of God providing for me like Crazy! In the Past 2 Weeks, i have seen God show his faithfulness to me more than I ever have in my whole life time! Weather it be through providing for me and this trip, or loving and holding me through life's worst! Just Recently, the time of my departure was arriving closer and closer and I was hesitant as to how in the world We were going to get the money to pay for all this trip... plus 400+pair of socks! Obviously we aren't made of money... BUT we do serve a faithful God! I sent out support letters about 2 weeks ago and I have seen an incredible response! Also, the Church has given us an incredible gift towards this journey! Mr. Napier gave us a buzz and asked us to bring a pair of socks for the orphans.. come to find out there are 400+ orphans where there at... how the heck Am I going to get 400+ Pair of socks... I know... Philippeans 4:19! " And My God will supply all my needs! " Weather it be 400 pair of socks, or financially or whatever... These past couple weeks, God has provided for me and have never left my side!

oh and I bought all my clothes I'm gonna have to wear over there! Definitely going to learn how to rock long skirts and tennis shoes!

Bloggity Blog Blog!

Oh how I have missed blogging... this is sorta like a diary just not as private! Since you guys are sorta reading what I am typing! Basically the reason behind this blog is to keep my friends and family updated on what all God is doing in my life! I find it so exciting to hear from others what amazing things God is doing in there life... so why not share a glimpse of my story! In exactly 34 days, I will be on a plane headed to Uganda Africa! Not gonna lie, I am totally beyond nervous.... I could list a whole bunch of things I am freaking out about, but that's just satan trying to tear me down! However, I checked off one of my things on that list yesterday! I went and got all my shots and medicine I needed! Not a fun time, but ehh I'm a big girl (: My daddy bought all the tickets and we are set to go! Leaving on December 2, flying to DC.. then to somewhere in England, then landing in Uganda.... then driving to Jinja Uganda where we will be staying with our lovely friends the Napiers! There we will be able to give a helping hand around the orphanage, maybe change a few diapers, play some ball....! But most importantly, there we will be able to be the light in their darkness! Keep checking my blog, because I will be updating you here! and maybe even some other silly blogs! what can I say, I'm a teenage girl... I might even throw in a blog about Justin Bieber one of these days.... who knows! It's Late, I'm going to bed! PEACE!
